    VIDEO SCRIPT | By supporting students today, we can help them change the world tomorrow. This was a key message in the “multi-voice” script I developed for this campaign video aimed at inspiring donations to UBC’s ambitious fundraising initiative for students.

    DIGITAL BROCHURE & WEBSITE | I worked with Kelly Bagshaw Design to create marketing materials for this new townhome community in Langley West, BC. Messaging focused on what home buyers emerging from pandemic lockdowns craved – more space, flexibility, and new beginnings.

About Me

Words and I go way back.

Our professional relationship began in publishing (editing words), grew stronger in video production (scripting words), and hit its stride in historical research (poring over old words).

All this word work gave me a strong foundation in communicating for different audiences and platforms.

I’ve worked as a copywriter and content creator both at an agency and freelance. Ottawa is home, but my writing career started in Vancouver and I feel fortunate to still work with many clients on the west coast. I’ve done lots of writing for real estate campaigns, education clients, and businesses big and small. Basically, if your project involves words, I’m in. Except annual reports. Not a fan.

At this point in the “About Me” you usually find some personal tidbits — quirky hobbies, unusual talents, pet peeves, that sort of thing. But you’re not looking for the usual. Excellent—you’ve come to the right place.
